After Marcus Hammond had surgery on his knee two weeks ago, many of us felt that he was done for the season. Marcus was definitely missed during the game against Davidson as he has improved this season and has become a clutch player both on offense and defense.
Good News: I spoke with Coach Byington after the Bobby Cremins Show and he said (off-the record) that Marcus was healing quite fast and was off his crutches. Marcus could possibly see playing time in the SoCon Tournament at the end of the month. Get well Marcus, the team and the fans need you!
